India created 3 Lakh jobs in U.S. in 3 years

Bangalore: Corporate India has produced 3,00,000 jobs for people in the U.S. between 2004 and 2007, though the Indian outsourcing industry is blamed for taking away American jobs, says a study.

According to the study by India Brand Equity Foundation, the Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma mentioned that Indian industry has contributed $105 billion to the U.S. economy during 2004-07.

Sharma said,"This revealed a story of commitment to optimize and to invest in the future of the relationship."

Encouraged by U.S. President Barack Obama's calls, many U.S. companies moved from Bangalore to Buffalo. Therefore the $50 billion Indian outsourcing industry now has come across a major crisis in the U.S.
